Why must we keep upgrading our software?
There’s wisdom to be gleaned from the old adage; If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. At PROCAD, we believe that if the software is fulfilling your design needs, there’s little reason to upgrade it and disrupt your established work processes. However, there are a few reasons that are either provide a good business case to upgrade, or an upgrade is imperative, and here they are:
- New hardware or new operating systems that don’t support older software products
- New AutoCAD versions with new DWG file formats
- Enhancements in software to make you more productive
If you’re already a PROCAD customer, you probably know that we keep upgrade cycles to a minimal to avoid disruption and incur additional costs. But when we do come up with a new upgrade, like we’re doing right now with V2016, rest assured that it was necessary to keep your operation humming along.
