An additional feature in AutoCAD that can be useful in the PROCAD software is the Design Center, which allows you to access other drawing information within your current drawing. In PROCAD, the most useful information is the availability to use existing symbols (blocks). You can attach an existing symbol library drawing to the software for use in the current and future piping drawings. Once a drawing is attached the available information that can be used is:
  • Blocks
  • Layers
  • Dimension Styles
  • Text Styles
  • And more…….
This video tutorial shows you how to attach a symbol library and make available the “blocks” for use in the current spool drawing. Take a look below! For more detail information on the Design Center, check out the Autodesk website
PROCAD Video Tutorials are part of our continued effort to help customers learn and use the software effectively. Along with our complimentary PROCAD Tutorials, these additional videos expand users’ knowledge base of the software. They show detailed usage of commands and tools and updated features that have been added to the software. Time well spent! View at your leisure as they are always available. Be sure to keep viewing the News and Learn sections. Tutorials are continually added that enhance your PROCAD experience! Need help with a particular feature?
