2D DESIGNER Update History

At PROCAD, we strive to continually improve our products in order to best serve our client's needs. The list below contains some examples of changes made to the software over the past few months, but is by no means an exhaustive list.

2D DESIGNER V2010

July 2010

• Added new option in Standards Manager for BOM category of swages in AutoISO and AutoORTHO.
• Fixed appearance of olets when hidden in AutoORTHO
• Improved Spec Blind to allow for 3 face types
• Changed catalogue # to part # in Spec Generator and BOM Settings Manager

November 2009

• Fixed problem with threaded couplings in AutoORTHO.

October 2009

• Added new specifications A1, B1, C1, D in new installation CD, made specs available for download
• Fixed problem with client names in Standards Manager
• Improved Specification Manager - default rating selection for component views

September 2009

• Added feature to allow line numbers to be stored in a unique location, allowing the datafiles to be completely read only
• Cleaned up functionality around templates

June 2009

• Fixed problem with socket weld and threaded items in AutoORTHO.
• Added message in AutoISO when cap added when AutoRoute engaged.

February 2010

• Fixed problem with spectacle blind not using material information from spec
• Fixed wire numbering routine in AutoELECTRIC

November 2009

• Fixed problem with threaded couplings in AutoORTHO.

May 2009

• Fixed problem with socket weld and threaded items in AutoORTHO.

• Fixed problem with valve size in AutoFLOW when flange toggle is used.

February 2009

• Added spectacle blind into specifications
• Fixed problem for BOM ballooning when line filtering used

February 2008

• Updated CrypKey Engine to build 7103
• Updated Microsoft redistributable file which was required to run install on Server 2003
• Improved dialog box for 2D DESIGNER.exe to include AutoCAD only option

November 2007

• Added AutoCAD 2004, 2005, 2006 compatibility
• Fixed issues with S/F in the BOM Settings Manager for V2004S and V2002 files
• Fixed problem with Select Item dialog appear multiple times
• Fixed problem with Sort by Destination and material ballooning
• Improved undo functionality

October 2007

• Vista 32-bit compatibility
• Fixed issue with license manager - not able to paste all 4 site codes at once
• Improved dimensioning in AutoISO when dimensioning reaches crosses, tees
